Diagnosis and Initial Treatment Plan

When I was diagnosed with stage IV rectal cancer, I felt like my world stopped. The cancer had already spread to my liver, and my tumor marker CEA level was over 2000—a grim statistic indicating the aggressive nature of my disease.
